Duties:
- Driving turnover to ensure achievement of targets

- Managing stock losses to ensure shrinkage is in line with the company standard
- People management, including, recruitment, development and training of staff, employee relations, performance management
- Executing in-store merchandise strategy and standards

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Thorough knowledge of tax returns.
- Thorough knowledge of salaries and statutory returns –knowledge of VAT, UIF, COIDA, SDL and PAYE.
- Thorough knowledge of e-Filing, Pastel, Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Knowledge of AccFin Professional Series software or aptitude to learn.

- Knowledge of company secretarial functions would be an advantage
Key Functions and Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly salaries and weekly wages for clients and dealing with related correspondence or queries.
- Preparation of COIDA returns, EMP501 etc
- Preparation and completion of income tax returns, dividends tax, VAT and payroll returns for all tax types
- Tax computations for all tax types
- Registration of various tax types on e-filing and with SARS, including possible SARS visits
- Ad hoc SARS applications and reply to queries for various taxes (eg. Registrations, tax clearance, IT14SD queries)
- Maintenance of Accfin database tax file
- Client liaison
- Reception relief
Other:
- Own transport highly desirable
- Only persons with valid work permits will be considered
- Salary dependent on experience and current tax knowledge
