Responsibilities:

• Copywriting, creative writing and proofreading – from posts to blogs to whatever’s needed to make people share, like, love, click, buy.
• Brainstorm and strategise with team.
• Tailoring the content and style of individual writing assignments according to their purpose – whether they are intended to sell or inform.
• Help create and implement content plans, calendars and schedules.
• Monitor, engage and gather insights on all platforms.
• Research and integrate the latest changes and best practices in digital and social marketing.

Requirements

• Related qualifications and certificates.
• Industry-related experience a must. Three to five years’ in marketing/advertising/relevant industry such as Inbound, SEO, lead generation.
• Copywriting skills and excellent command of English a must.
• Good understanding of sales funnels and lead magnets.
• A deep understanding of web and social media analytics and metrics.
• CMS and Social Media platform proficiency.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle various tasks; attention to detail.
• HubSpot experience a massive advantage
• AdWords and social media advertising also advantage.
• Basic understanding of coding languages an advantage.
• Design skills an advantage.

Direct reporting line: Vice Principal – Tertiary 

Lecturing in to the module of integration of new media in brand building; logistics in brand building; media planning and a focus on channel planning-a key discipline in brand contact planning and management for second year students. Including lecture planning, prep and marking of assignments and examinations.

Key performance area:

• Deliver the module in such a manner as to achieve the stated subject outcomes within the assigned contact hours.
• The assessment of student work within the stipulated marking and moderation cycle and provide constructive feedback to students and reporting any students concerns to the student relations coordinator.
• Class preparation and development of lesson plans in a constructivist learning approach.
• Proactively participates in Vega events, such as open days, graduation and others.
• Arrange for the appropriate guest lecturer to support application to the world of work.
• Operate in line with The Independent Institute of Education’s (The IIE) policies.
