Role and responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will mostly be focused on the accurate setup of approved customer designs for print ready digital reproduction. Daily duties include providing artwork to the print team for both client and internal orders so good communicating skills will benefit an extroverted individual keen to work well within a busy studio. You will oversea color strikes, test prints and signoff off on approved pressed panels forming a crucial part of a vertical, well run operation. You will also provide ad hoc support to the in-house Creative Department responsible for seasonal product ranges and the companies e-commerce site.
Core responsibilities include:
- Creation of production ready artwork files for client and internal jobs
- Creation and approval of colour check files
- Approval of colour checks, test prints and pressed panels
- Splitting of artwork templates to support the development process
- Liaising with the production department to resolve any artwork alignment, colour and/or pattern template queries
- Correct and up to date file transfers and backup
- Accurate recreation of logos

- We know public transport is challenging but this is an onsite position. Give or a take a minute here or there you will need to be reliable

Requirements
Experience & Skillset
- Previous experience working in the sportswear manufacturing industry advantageous
- Positivity breeds positivity – we want a healthy mental attitude please
- Good working knowledge of graphics and design fundamentals
- You care for neat and presentable artwork
- Proficient in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign on a Mac OSX platform
- Basic CorelDraw
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Excel
- Ability to manage a diverse workload
- Technical knowledge of related programs and computer software
- Creation of artwork and media for the e-commerce platform and onsite retail store
- Working with the Head of Design on new products/catalogue and/or ranges
