Department: The Design Department is responsible for all of our digital and offline requirements. This covers a lot of mediums, skills and deliverables. Purpose: The Designer, reporting into the Design Manager will have a large focus on creating and maintaining eye-catching marketing material, generating and executing concepts and where necessary, providing support where needed to the wider design and creative team. You will be creating both digital and some print graphics for items such as Direct Mail and Posters through to digital materials such as banners, mailer imagery, website graphics and video. This will be within a multilingual environment where dynamic designs are required, often with tight deadlines.
Duties will include, but not limited to: The position will involve the following areas of responsibility: • Create usable, innovative digital designs and modifications as required • Create marketing material for our Marketing and Promotions departments which will include banners, landing pages, flyers, and direct marketing packs • Work closely with key stakeholders to establish project guidelines that consistently support branding and messaging initiatives • Follow principles of good web design, ensuring that design layouts are compliant to the latest Web standards • Maintain graphic and technical knowledge by attending design workshops and reviewing professional publications where possible taking a proactive approach to develop your knowledge and gain experience
