The June 2018 Quarterly Bulletin will be released on Thursday, 21 June 2018, at 10h00.
Members of the media who would like to have access to the bulletin ahead of publication can attend a lock-up which will run from 07h00 to 09h00. The lock up will be followed by a media briefing. Both the lock-up and the media briefing are covered by the embargo.

The South African Reserve Bank (SARB) will be launching its first commemorative banknote series, in celebration of the first democratically elected president Nelson Mandela’s birth centenary. These notes will cover all denominations – R10, R20, R50, R100 and R200. As part of the celebrations, the South African Mint, a subsidiary of the SARB, will also be issuing a new commemorative circulation R5 coin.
