Job description
We are looking for an experienced, passionate and creative individual to join our growing marketing team at FMI. This digital-savvy employee is responsible for communications, social media, and content creation, and able to build the company’s brand, both online and off. The potential candidate should have:
- Writing skills
- Social media experience – understand social media tools and platforms, and how brands should effectively communicate on these platforms
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Content creation – writing blog posts, articles, newsletters, communications materials, and material for social media channels
- Social media marketing – creating, managing and growing the company’s presence through blogs, Twitter, Facebook, and other strategically relevant online properties
- Customer relations – monitoring and responding to online comments
- Set and implement social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies
- Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews
- Liaise with Development and Sales departments to stay updated on new products and features
- Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends
- Planning social content and maintaining the content calendar
- Ensuring social media content is regular, relevant and engaging
- Engaging with Fans and Followers to build relationships with the community and encourage engagement

Requirements
Education and Experience Required
- Communications degree or equivalent
- Two+ years’ experience as Community Manager in digital agency ideal
General Skills Required
- Must have a good eye for detail
- Must be highly motivated
- Good interpersonal skills and work well in a team
- Interest in and keeping up to date on latest trends
- Sound brand/marketing understanding
- Must be highly creative Requires minimal supervision; models effective self-management skills; is highly confidential; demonstrates good judgement, high EQ and communicates effectively with other project / management
- Prioritises and manages actions to meet changing deadlines and requirements within a high volume, high paced environment
- Ability to organise tasks, adjust to priorities, learn systems, within time constraints and with available resources
