We have a wonderful opportunity for a creative, mid-weight Copywriter/Scriptwriter at a super explainer video company in the Eastern Cape. This forward-thinking company conceptualise and produce a variety of videos for some of the world’s biggest brands. We’re looking for someone who is able to understand complex products and work with more technical and in-depth subject matter in the fields of tech, healthcare and financial etc. Our client may also consider a candidate from a journalism or e-learning background. The ideal candidate is someone with solid and stable work experience – someone reliable, who commits long-term to their role and agency.

Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:

• University Degree – preferred
• Relevant Scriptwriting or Advertising qualification 
• 4-5 years’ experience
• Background in advertising, journalism, communications, or a creative field – preferred
• Previous scriptwriting experience in the areas of explainer videos or TV and radio ads – a bonus!
• Creative
• Talented with strong writing skills
• Willingness to learn
• Team player.
