Environment:

An industrial, financial and commercial business solutions company in Cape Town is looking for a dedicated and competent crystal report writer to join their team who will be responsible for the designing, creating and deploying of reports across various in-house systems and databases.

Duties:

• Collaborating with internal stakeholders for reporting requirement extraction.
• Designing, creating, maintaining and deployment of Crystal Reports.
• Designing, creating, maintaining and deployment of SQL based reports.
• Assisting colleagues in the investigation of software and system related problems on existing and new products or solutions.
• Assisting with testing of system and software changes.

Requirements:

• A degree or diploma in information systems or computer science.
• Three or more years’ experience.
• Experience with SDLC.
• Experience creating reports using Crystal Reports.
• Experience with relation data design, analysis and management.
• Experience with SQL (Structured Query Language).
• Experience working with MySQL database.
• Experience in the following would be advantageous:
• Familiarity with Linux environments.
• Git version control.
• NoSQL databases (i.e. MongoDB/Casandra).
• Application development.
