Our client within the Clearing and Forwarding Industry is seeking a Customs Manager/ Controller to resolve and assist with customer queries

Requirements:

• Qualifications in customs compliance
• 5-6 years customs experience
• Framing of entries (air – import/export, sea -import/export)
• Quality check entries
• Manage a team of staff
• EDI Submissions
• Application for permits from ITAC, SABS etc
• Liquidation of provisional payments
• Refund applications
• Reporting to senior management
• Tariff products and parts
• Attend customs meeting and provide feedback
