Job description
As the digital operations director, you will be responsible for the following:
- Ensure the delivery of great client digital media campaigns.
- Accountable for overall process to setup, launch, optimise, report and invoice to the client.
- Drive efficiencies in the campaign-execution process through both workflow ( from brief to launch, to reporting, to invoice), and creative improvements.
- Manage operational team leads (search, SEO, display, social and creative)
- Review processes and efficiencies between departments
- Ensure close collaboration with client services
- Constant communications between all relevant departments
- Pull reports and follow-up on outstanding billings
- Set-up templates for briefing/ budgeting purposes
- Make recommendations on performance improvement to internal clients
- Direct the annual budgeting process and subsequent control of operational costs thereafter
- Coordination of annual capital projects and associated budget controls
- Organisational effectiveness
- Drive initiatives and effectiveness and collaboration amongst the management and functional teams
- Leadership
- Contribute to organisational planning and implementation
- Inspire a culture of positive situational leadership and empower staff
- Operational risk management
- Succession Planning and talent pipeline management
- Keep Sprout in line with (and exceeding, where possible) the industry’s best practices with regards to search and display, and sharing these best practices across the organisation.
- Ensure the Ops team is always ahead of the curve
- Responsible for execution and oversee flow through of strategy – PM to handle the logistics.
- Performs other duties as assigned

We are looking for people who have worked in the Digital Marketing or Media agency environment before, someone who is knowledgeable, confident, understands the importance of excellent customer service and someone who is a real team player.
Requirements
- Five years of experience in digital marketing and operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, management, economics or marketing.
- Ability to analyse finances, communicate professionally, identify legal issues, and improve productivity
- Strong negotiation, organisation, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Experience with marketing technologies; campaign-management tools, content-management systems, marketing, Google Analytics, etc.
- Strong presentational skills: ability to articulate complex workflows, dependencies, solutions, and tradeoffs
- An understanding of modern advertising technology, services and methods
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills and an advanced understanding of internet/e-commerce mechanics
- You possess a successful track record of managing large scale operations at Top level within a digital agency
- Strategy is crucial within this role along with having a hands-on style
- You must be dynamic, tenacious and able to adapt within a fast-paced operation
