This position requires an experienced professional with a solid understanding of technology transformation projects across multiple industries that include advisory, design and deployment of enabling technologies.  The candidate must also be able to articulate a value proposition to the business community at senior management and executive level. You will perform the following tasks amongst others as required:

• Practice development – supporting a team that can drive and deliver technology advisory and design solutions across multiple industries
• Proposal support activities through RFP/RFI/Tenders and subsequent proposals, client presentations, requirements gathering and facilitating demos of prototypes with technical assistance
• Scoping, sizing and planning the associated project effort and dependencies
• Define project approaches at project life cycle level
• • Support and help define integrated project plans, including Project charters / project definition reports that elaborate on all aspects of the project
• Resource and mobilise project work streams as per project plans
• Manage resource re-allocations and handovers in the event of swap-outs or resignations or scope changes
• Manage and oversee all project activities as overall owner of the client relationship and the resource accountable for project delivery
• Continuously monitor and manage delivery according to sound business principles
• Perform research, evaluate and stay current with trends in the industry
• Work closely with business users, solution and platform vendors and other delivery areas 

Our Requirements

Experience in managing high-value technology transformation projects, including IT advisory projects

• Management consulting experience (preferred)
• Knowledge and experience to develop cloud strategy/solutions and articulate impact of cloud to business
• Knowledge and experience of conceptual enterprise architecture components (data, information, security)
• Strong project commercial ability i.e. Budgeting / pricing on projects
• Experience in operating in a DevOps environment i.e. Agile / Scrum or Hybrid methods
• Experience and knowledge of delivering services and implementations in Africa will be an advantageous
• Advanced corporate communication and writing experience and advanced computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent level knowledge of technology advisory services, including IT Strategy, IT Operating Models, IT Effectiveness and Performance Management, IT Cost Optimisation, IT Portfolio Management
• Interpersonal communications skills, presentation skills and client interaction skills including relationship management
