The position requires attention to detail in layout, a passion for reproduction as well as a knowledge and understanding of design principles across various mediums. 3D and web design skills are highly advantageous.

Requirements

Must be able to work well under pressure and work late to meet deadlines. Ability to work on last minute jobs.

– Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop)

– Proficient in Acrobat/ PDF generation
– General design and layout
– Scanning, deep etching, colour retouching
– Ensuring all work is repro ready
– Setting up of pages, imposition etc.
– Pre-flighting and ensuring print-readiness of InDesign files

– Flair for repro and detail
– Able to cope well under pressure
– Reliable, hardworking
– Willingness to learn

– Good communication skills – ability to communicate across multiple departments

– Quality control – follow through & follow up of jobs

– Customer service – ability to speak & direct client at a moment’s notice

– Host & be a part of production/ design meetings

– Creative problem solver

– Use internal systems to communicate across different platforms
