An audio-visual storyteller position is opening up in our agency, and we are looking for fresh applicants to submit their portfolios for review.

Client base includes premium brand accounts, primarily offshore, as well as a set of TV channels which we look after on a day to day basis (local and international), and as such we are looking for a fresh new personality to add to our dynamic team.

The job is of a permanent type, remuneration is market-related with certain benefits, the role is intended for someone who is looking for new and fresh opportunities, to work on exciting projects and briefs.

A very strong portfolio is key and is/will be the only thing used to evaluate candidates prior to the interview process.

Requirements

Very strong knowledge of:

• Adobe After Effects
• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Premiere

Is essential, and a showreel should demonstrate this ability.

In addition to this, a comprehensive understanding of the industry is important, excellent verbal and communication skills are essential, and a basic understanding of graphic design principles is important.

Intermediate knowledge of 3D and CGI spaces is a bonus, but not essential.

Portfolio needs to show strong storytelling ability and understanding of conceptual directions and translation of the written word into a visual item as well as a strong technical ability to execute the same.

Evenings and weekends are an occasional must. Our clients operate globally, in different time zones, thus requiring presence and delivery after RSA standard operating hours, as well as on weekends. If this is a problem, candidates need to indicate this on this application.
