PARLIAMENT – South African Airways chair Dudu Myeni will brief Parliament on Wednesday on measures it is taking to curb irregular, fruitless and wasteful expenditure at the airline.
The parastatal has been beset by financial problems, requiring regular bailouts from government in order to service their debt repayments.
The South African Cabin Crew Association (SACCA) has said SAA is a profitable organisation that is being undermined by looters.
SAA has projected losses in excess of R800-million for the 2017-2018 financial year.
