PRETORIA – Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane on Friday withdrew her application for a postponement on the CIEX report in the North Gauteng High Court.
Judge Billy Mothle ruled on a timetable for filing papers, including her answering affidavit.
The matter will commence on 5 December, as planned.
Mkhwebane had applied for a postponement of Treasury and Absa’s application to overturn her entire report.
Her report recommended Absa pay back over R1-billion in interest on a bailout given to Bankorp.
