eNCA | WATCH: ‘The damage has already been done’ says Vavi on Ramaphosa
JOHANNESBURG – Campaigns of misinformation against political enemies are nothing new.
In 2013, former Cosatu General Secretary and Saftu General Secretary Zwelinzima Vavi and other prominent politicians were accused of trying to topple the government.
The report named Vavi, Cyril Ramaphosa, Tokyo Sexwale, and others as part of that conspiracy.
“I have no doubt about that this is them at play — having been a victim of these shenanigans myself…I know the modus operandi of these guys when they go for cutthroat politics, they go full blast…They will isolate and then go for the kill…people have survived and I think people are no longer taking this nonsense serious,” says Vavi.
Deputy President Ramaphosa has been making headlines over a sex scandal and hacking of emails.
Vavi says, with Regards to Ramaphosa, the damage has already been done.
Vavi also says ahead of the ANC election policy conference, there will be more scandals such as that of Ramaphosa’s.
