JOHANNESBURG – Struggle stalwart Winnie Madikizela-Mandela has been admitted to hospital.

Madikizela-Mandela was admitted to the Milpark Hospital on Tuesday evening for a minor procedure on her knee.

The family has issued a statement saying her doctor has pronounced the procedure a success.

Madikizela-Mandela will be kept in hospital for the next two weeks, for observation.
