EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent Role

SECTOR: Technical / engineering

BASIC SALARY: R35 000

START DATE: September 2019

DUTIES

• Working with stock, inclusive of BOM – process
• Identify problems through historical data
• Provide guidance for production – process improvement
• Identify risks with design / manufacturing depts.
• Assist and guide to ensure introduction of new models
• Update CAD model and drawings for production alignment
• Drafting of documents to provide instructions for quality / safety / savings
• Ad hoc duties

APPLICANTS MUST HAVE

• A Senior Certificate / Mechanical Engineering Qualification / NQF6 / similar
• Be Credit and Criminal Clear
• Minimum of 3-5 experience within manufacturing / shipping / similar
• Experience in manufacturing mechanical tooling, jigs or fixtures
• Ability to complete mechanical design
• Experience in Excel (adv.) able to function in Solidworks / Syspro /similar
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Exposure in fibreglass / similar adv.
• Self-starter and able to participate as a team player
• Have excellent organisational and communication skills
• Be physically fit and agile
