Getclosure assists businesses to manage their reputations online. The business provides social media monitoring, engagement and analysis services to leading companies across the African continent.

Getclosure is looking for a bilingual (English and Portuguese) Social Media Customer Engagement Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring social media platforms on a daily basis, and responding to customer complaints and enquiries. They will work as part of a team, and must be able to contribute to developing and growing a business in a new and fast-changing environment.

We are looking for a team player with excellent language and analytical skills, with a strong understanding of social media platforms. Previous experience in social media customer engagement or social media community management is a distinct advantage.

Requirements:

• Excellent written and spoken English and Portuguese;
• two years’ work experience – ideally, social media customer engagement or community management;
• tertiary education – diploma or degree;
• communication skills – verbal and written;
• administrative and organisational skills – attention to detail;
• aptitude for problem solving and desire to see tasks through to completion;
• strong analytical ability;
• strong understanding of social media platforms – Twitter, Facebook, Instagram & YouTube;
• experience using Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint;
• experience using social media workflow management tools – Conversocial or Sprout Social;
• applicant must live in Cape Town.
