Estate Maintenance Manager
The main purpose of this position is to effectively manage the maintenance upkeep of the whole Bigger Estate (Joint property’s) property, its operational facilities and infrastructure at a standard that is aligned with the company’s visions as a top-class property. 5 years’ experience in construction or facility maintenance .
5 Year management experience.
Working exp. in an agricultural environment advantageous. People management skills .
Technical competency: Ability to conduct equipment inspections to identify and facilitate/conduct repair of machinery .
Observational skills: Adept at identifying machine faults or building hazards to initiate repairs and adjustment .
Strong leadership and communication skills (written & verbal) as well as interpersonal skills.
Ability to keep track of and report on activity
Organisational and leadership abilities.
Be hands on, able to multitask, organize and able to delegate .
Must be able to manage a staff of 10 and run multiple projects at once. Weekend hours monitoring and when needed manage teams on site as needed.
Emergency available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Always available on phone calls.
Living on the Estate at a provided house
