A well-known shark cage diving company is seeking a bookings and trip coordinator to manage and co-ordinate bookings throughout the year.

This role allows one the opportunity to work from home with the need to only go into the head office in Gansbaai for monthly meetings.

• Office like space/home office set up with fast internet connection
• Ability to work shift hours rotating with one other staff member

• Matric
• Tertiary diploma (tourism diploma advantageous)
• Own reliable transport with valid drivers license
• Self-discipline with ability to work on your own
• Excellent admin skills
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work in pressure driven environment – especially over season
• Confident decision maker with good problem-solving capabilities
• Sense of humour

• Creation of different databases (SME, Foundations, Government), matching products to prospective clients, optimisation recommendations, sales co ordination, implementation and general department administration 

Marketing

• Market research and implementation plan (Qualitative consumer research for psychographics) to use for sales proposals, optimisation recommendations, marketing co ordination, implementation and general department administration

• Work hours are 9am to 5pm

• Knowledge of South African Media Landscape and CTV’s competitor set within community TV sector is highly advantageous
