You Need

Our client, a groundbreaking and multi-award winning airline support service company, with offices spread across three continents, is looking to grow its team with a German speaking aviation loading agent to plan the proper distribution of load into aircraft holds.

This exciting opportunity will suit someone who wants to be part of a 250 team of professionals from 27 countries, who ensure the safety of millions of passengers on 50,000 to 60,000 flights monthly. This person will be responsible for issuing the final loading instructions and calculating the weight and balance including proper fuel ratio, passenger figures and actual loading of a particular aircraft within the limits.

Key performance areas:

• Ensure the correct input of data on the relevant IT systems in order to ensure the correct loading of aircrafts
• Monitoring of loading system 
• Manual input of data when information is missing from different interfaces
• Clarification of loading related questions with the support of the IT systems
• Attend meeting where and when required
• Attend training and courses where and when required

Qualifications and experiences:

• Excellent English communication skills
• Good German skill understands the language fluently, at a functional level (basic conversational knowledge) 
• Minimum Matric with excellent Math skills, additional tertiary education is advantageous
• Good computer knowledge and understanding from a functional and work related level, including keyboard and mouse skills
• Proven systems thinking ability – to identify and relate apparently unrelated issues and factors, seeing the whole and not only the parts
• Two to three years previous work experience in similar environment advantageous

• Decision making: the ability to take calculated risks in comparing different options and making the best decision
• Logical thinking: the ability to break a problem down into logical steps or processes

• Timekeeping: the ability to function within determined time guidelines

Our client, a leading global e-commerce giant in Cape Town, is recruiting for the position of German speaking digital customer service associate. The digital customer service associate provides outstanding customer and technical service support to customers via phone, chat and email. The successful candidate will have interest in and deep knowledge of the internet, computers, digital media, wireless networking, mobile devices and applications. You will need to be action-orientated, technically competent and a flexible problem solver with excellent communication skills.

Key performance areas:

• Provide account and application support to customers, specifically with regards to software functionality and troubleshooting of system configurations and network settings
• Act as an advocate for our customer, reporting and acting on observed areas for improvement
• Provide prompt, efficient, detailed, customer-oriented service to customers 
• Assume responsibility for developing detailed knowledge about specific product lines and features
• Ensure internal reference pages are updated 
• Ensure interactive website features are operational and surface all problematic issues for immediate correction
• Actively seek solutions and identify trends and suggestions to customer needs

Qualifications and experiences:

• Tertiary qualification
• One+ years of customer service experience
• Previous experience in a technical support role

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining high-quality outputs

• Flexibility in terms of work schedule (shifts will possibly start and end outside of business hours)

Details:

• Shifts: between 6pm and 12am, Mo – Sun: eight hours plus  hour break, five days (or four days, 10 hours plus one hour break possible), Training: five weeks
• Company offers a competitive salary, medical aid contribution, career growth opportunities
• Free transportation is offered to all staff working between 7pm and 7am
• R95 per hour; basic salary/month = R16, 469.20
