A concern specialising in international imports and exports is seeking a Cross Trades and Seadfood Administration Team Leader to join their team.
Open position : Cross Trades and Seafood Administration Team Leader
Location : Port Elizabeth
Salary : R10 000 – R12 000 depending on experience
Type : Permanent position
Working hours : Monday to Friday (08:00 – 17:00)
Reporting to : Cross Trades and Seafood Category Manager
Job requirements :
– Matric
– Related tertiary qualification advantageous
– Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite
– Relevant experience advantageous
– Syspro experience advantageous
– Previous Supervisory Experience
Duties include :
– Applications and follow up on outstanding permits
– Monitor / plan when new permits are needed
– Assist with planning
– Help Clearing Agents and Procurement and Shipping Team with the correct HS Codes
– Design and proof labels for new products
– Assist with Label requirements and queries
– Forex requests and purchase order requisitions / amendments / cancellations
– Send new supplier information sheets to Finance for opening of accounts
– Updates regarding supplier information
– Validate supplier confirmation / Proforma Invoice with purchase order
– Ensure that management authorizes and signs purchase order requisition forms
– Upload documents and update reference numbers on the Dashboard
– Follow-up and obtain authorization and request deposit payment on orders and required date of payment
– Request and update supplier shipping schedules
– Assisting clearing agents with queries
– Assisting Haulage with cold store allocations
– Follow up on delivery of containers to cold store
– Advise cold stores of sample boxes and if loads are for re-export (no NRCS needed)
– Gather all required documentation and complete request to sample and advise NRCS of sampling request
– Follow-up on status of overdue micro results
– Aiding Sales Executives with information amendments / cancellations / swop outs
– Local / International sales order requests
– Check and authorize requisitions / amendments / cancellations / Swop outs
– Follow up on signed sales orders
– Follow up on load out of released stock in store and request release accordingly
– Confirm if payment reflects in bank for the Cash Account before releases can be done
– Check if customers’ accounts are not suspended or on hold before release of product
– Address any damaged boxes or stock with suppliers and put them on notice that there might be a potential claim
– Provide feedback on Small Balances report and Expired Stock Report
– Aiding Finance / International Claims / Local Claims with the information relating to all Returns / Claims
-Compiling and sending out monthly import statistics
– Compiling and sending out monthly / weekly reports
– Assist Admin Manager / Cross Trades / Seafood Category Manager with any duties required
– Working on Syspro, Outlook, Expedite and Excel and ensuring relevant emails are actioned
