Our client in the Telecommunications Sector requires a Marketing Specialist on a 6 months contract role. The role is based in Cape Town, Century City.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and execute an annual 360 segment marketing plan to drive regional segment (Mass) and county strategic objectives.
- Implementation of sales promotions, activations and through the line campaigns to achieve segment and sales targets
- Identify and explore new opportunities to acquire new customers
- Execute regional media advertising plan to increase product awareness
- Regional management & monitoring of Vodacom brands as it relates to segment campaigns, events, activations, sponsorships and promotions for consistent application and visibility, ensuring compliance according to CI, standards, policies and procedures
- Monthly report tracking on segment budgets to ensure effective ROI.
- Analysing of key consumer, market and segment data and trends to ensure insights driven marketing plans
- Conduct post campaign evaluations on all marketing and promotional activities to determine implementation effectiveness and impact.
- Competitor market analysis across all counties.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Matric / Grade 12 essential
- Relevant certificates essential
- 5+ years relevant Marketing experience essential
OR
- Matric / Grade 12 essential
- 3 year marketing diploma or degree (NQF 6 or higher) or SAQA accredited equivalent qualification essential
- 3+ years relevant marketing experience essential
