Job description

Responsibilities:

•Managing the entire factory planning function

•Responsible for all production plans and scheduling

•Coordinate with operations groups with respect to the execution of the production plans

•Recommend and plan for changes to available capacity to optimise use of assets

•Managing changes and roll outs of new products or processes in the planning process

•Working closely with procurement to report, review and resolve all material issues relating to production

•Identify capacity constraints based on current demand

•Daily/Weekly/Monthly Reporting •Various improvement projects

•Managing and ensuring KPI targets are achieved.

Requirements

Requirements:

•Relevant 3 year tertiary or SAPICS qualification

•Strong planning experience with at least 3-5 years experience in a manufacturing environment

•Knowledge of Syspro or a scheduling tool will be an advantage

•Advanced Excel proficiency

•Excellent communications skills

•Proactive and well organised

•Ability to meet deadlines

•Excellent problem solving skills

•Detail orientated

•Ability to improve or implement new processes.
