Requirements:

• Valid SACE registration
• B.Ed. Teaching Degree
• Five years of actual teaching/lecturing experience
• Experience as a Deputy Principal or HOD
• Clear credentials ito reference and verification checks
• Unendorsed driver’s license and own transport
• Language ability in English and Afrikaans, 3rd language advantageous

Duties include the following, but not limited to:

• Leading staff in ensuring the curriculum is enriched
• Ensuring that student enrolment grows
• Timetabling
• Selection of textbooks
• Hiring staff
• Guiding, training and supervising staff
• Develop and present staff training programs
• Professional management of the school and maintain the efficient and smooth running of the school
• Ensure school records kept and maintained e.g. Consult staff, learner, attendance/absentees, learner info and parent info.
• Inspections to ensure the school premises and equipment are properly used
• Job spec not limited to the above.
