Liquorice is a dynamic, forward thinking and a world leading digital agency. We are seeking an exceptional financial professional to assist and support the Finance Manager in managing the finance function of the agency at our Cape Town Office. Your main functions will include but not limited to:

• Assist with financial and ad hoc reporting – the monthly management reporting process, year-end reporting process and some ad hoc reporting as and when directed by holding company
• Assist in preparation of budgeting, cash flow, forecasting exercises and review with FM
• Assist with audit processes for internal and external audits
• Set up new clients on systems and maintain clients’ vendor portal information
• Assist with some accounts receivable related tasks such as tracking client outstanding payments and assist with communications to re-sources team regarding client accounts and the agency’s account managers for follow ups with their clients where relevant
• Support to FM and back up in overseeing the finance team from time to time
• Ad hoc finance related tasks

 Requirements

•  Accounting degree / BComm
• Accounting package/system working knowledge (MS Navision experience would be beneficial)
• Bonus:  job management system experience like Chase and ERP system experience
• Good understanding of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable control and management
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written. Must be able to comfortably communicate with role players on all levels from junior staff to senior management as well as external role players within company group.
• Pays great attention to detail
• Two to three years’ experience in a similar role
