This corporate giant is currently seeking the services of a Financial Manager: Corporate, who will be responsible for fixed assets, creditors, taxation and financial systems and corporate reporting. Within each function, manage & identify risk, streamline processes, enhance efficiencies and provide strategic support to the business operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Chartered Accountant (SA).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Integrate fixed assets accounting with the asset management cycle.
• Develop policy and procedure manuals.
• Automate functions through enhanced system capabilities.
• Manage integration between the Accounting function and Project Engineers to manage the closure of projects.
• Chair the Tax Risk Committee responsible for the identification and management of tax risk, including Customs & Excise risks.
• Identification of capital allowances.
• Review tax computations, including income tax, VAT and dividends tax.
• Manage SARS audits.
• Manage the external audit function.
• Drafting of technical opinions for both accounting and tax.
• Implementation of new accounting standards.
• Reviewing consolidated group financial statements.
• Integrated Financial Reporting.
