Fire Detection Technician & Installer / East London. Requirements: – • Grade 12. • Valid Driver’s Licence/clean driving record • Min 3 years Electrical experience required • Min 3 years Maintenance Technician experience • Stable employment history with contactable references. • Must be physically fit to perform the job, including working at heights. Duties: – • Installation of conduit, cable, fire alarm cable • Basic competency to do fault finding on alarm panels/electrical systems/house hold alarms/CCTV Installations . • Servicing of detection systems. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities • Knowledge of fault finding on electrical systems • Knowledge of Safety requirements . • Fault finding ability • Strong computer skills (Excel, Word & Outlook) • Attention to detail and action oriented • Good verbal and written communication skills, fluent in English. • Ability to handle pressure is crucial.
