Matric, Diploma or Trade Certificate in related field. Min 5 years working experience in similar role. sound knowledge of transport operations and fleet. Good communication, Technical knowledge on fleet in a logistics environment. responsible for selecting the right vehicle and maintaining in good operating condition. maintain relationships with service providers. manage fuel consumption and comply with standards. On time service levels, resolve fleet break downs. maintain database of registration, inspections and maintenance on fleet. Keep to legal requirements and company policies. Safe work ethics. conduct safety audits, company safety meetings, meet with staff members. monitor spending with approved budgets. Manage repairs, maintenance to equipment, vehicles and facilities. Accident reporting, follow-up on repair/investigations on incidents. manage diesel cards/authorisation/ tyre maintenance/management. Company offer basic, fuel, other incentives.
