Our client in the FMCG industry is currently seeking a Maintenance Artisan for their plant in the Northern Suburbs.

Requirements:

• Tertiary education, degree or diploma, in Electrical and/or mechanical engineering. Preference will be given to Mechanical
• Trade Tested
• Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional (CMRP) an added advantage
• 3-5 years Brewing, FMCG or beverages experience, Preference will be given to Brewing experience.
• 3 – 5 years industrial electrical and mechanical engineering and maintenance experience
• Five years of previous experience supervising, leading and developing staff is required
• Thorough understanding of OSHA and plant legislative laws
• Practitioner manufacturing experience
• Experience with electrical systems (controls, automation, VFDs, PLCs) is essential
• Experience with mechanical systems such as welding, part fabrication, fluid transfer, pneumatics and plumbing is highly desired
• Experience with refrigeration and HVAC systems, boilers and steam principles
• Practical experience with high-speed bottling/packaging operations in food/beverage industries will be highly advantageous
