Our client, an association of audio/visual media artists with headquarters in Munich, Germany; requires a project manager to join their new and exciting small team in Cape Town. This person will be responsible for coordinating and managing projects. The company offers an unconventional and modern work environment where growth and innovation is the name of the game.

Key performance areas:

• Coordinate client requests and projects
• Accept requests, update documentation, allocate to graphic designer
• Manage client relationship (telephonic/email)
• Adhere to specific project instructions
• Supervise strict deadlines and work within time given
• Support graphic designers with the creation of text and chart diagrams in PowerPoint
• Use of Excel, specifically generate diagrams, tables and charts
• Quality-check documents before delivery to clients
• Create and regularly update internal datasheets (Excel,Word)

Qualifications and experiences:

• Matric essential, tertiary qualification advantageous
• Exceptional PowerPoint skills, as well as Excel and Word (Office 2007 and onwards).
• Additional knowledge of graphics software is beneficial (Adobe Creative Suite Vs 5 and onwards)
• Experience in a similar role

• Excellent German language skills, written and spoken
• Good English communication sills
• Team player and customer service oriented
• Able to work in a fast-paced and flexible environment
• Ability to work independently
• Reliable as well as able to produce high-quality work
• Confident and polite, on the phone and via email
• Must be able to work accurately, under pressure, to meet strict deadlines
• Excellent time management skills
