Job description
Community Media Trust (CMT), a national NGO that focuses on empowering individuals and communities to take part in managing and improving their health through media and outreach programmes wishes to appoint two suitably qualified/experienced facilitators. Suitable applicants must reside in Durban. We are looking for facilitators with a minimum of two years’ facilitation experience and a traceable track record. Due to the unique nature of the business, suitably qualified non-South African females only are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Facilitate and participate in training sessions
- Oversee and manage Mentors who are running the girls clubs
- Managing discussions on sensitive topics in an inclusive manner
- Collecting and monitoring data as needed
- Referring participants to appropriate services as needed
- Attend regular project and stakeholder meetings

Requirements
- Post-secondary certificate or diploma in a related field
- Prior experience in facilitating groups
- Prior experience in HIV and/or community work
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Excellent English written and verbal communication and facilitation skills
- Computer literacy (MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
