Job description

Media company seeks a creative, talented, multi-tasking and hard-working print and online designer (half day basis).

This person’s primary responsibilities will be the design of media (advertising) for in-house and external clients. This person will need to do layout and make up pages for weekly and monthly B-to-B publications, as well as designing banners for online daily publications. They will also need to be creative and make up adverts for these publications in the travel and freight industries. This person must ensure a smooth design process while producing creative work.

Requirements

• Minimum three to four years’ InDesign experience
• Able to work comfortably on PC systems
• Photoshop (essential)
• Illustrator (essential)

Advantageous

• Must be creative, with an affinity for accuracy and attention to detail (ability to visualise and conceptualise)
• Ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines
• Good written and verbal communication
• Be able to work in a team environment
• Print design experience and banner ad design experience an advantage
• Magazine layout experience
• Good sense of humour
