A leading financial institution has a vacancy for a head of communications.

Job function:

This position holds overall responsibility for the reputation management and communications strategy of the institution.

The incumbent is responsible for managing, building, and growing the media reputation in a clear, consistent, and professional manner; providing executives, business unit heads, marketing and business units with leadership, advice, and support on media issues; and building and maintaining relationships with key editors and journalists, both locally and internationally.

Experience required: 

• Eight years of experience at senior level across multiple communication and marketing disciplines such as: advertising, corporate communications, media/PR, internal communication, research, and marketing; managing marketing/communication specialists and teams and managing strategies and projects across multiple geographies; collaborating and managing internal stakeholders and external agencies to achieve strategic outcomes.
