Job description
I’m working with an exciting tech start-up business in Cape Town within the digital analytics space and they are recruiting for a Head of Product to come in and run the business. You will play a key part in the future of the business and have equity options. Although the company is a start-up they already have a list of impressive global clients and have gone from strength to strength since developing their product. This is an all-encompassing role from managing developers through to working with clients.
Day to day the role will involve:
• Overseeing the development of the platform and business overall
• Managing the development team,
• Working with client, dealing with client issues + feature planning
• Handling of marketing strategies, internal processes, pricing + billing strategies
• New business
• Leading a team + managing the culture of the business
Requirements
We are looking for an all-rounder with entrepreneurial spirit and drive. Ideally you will have the following experience:
• Solid digital + technical experience
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Digital PM, Product Manager etc.
• Bonus if you understand SaaS
• You’ll need to understand API integrations, MVP frameworks, database technologies, social networks and social media marketing + mobile technologies
• Experience in digital project management as well as working on large technical web builds
