Our client is leading media business in South Africa, and they are recruiting for a Head of Digital Sales to join their growing Cape Town team. The role has become available due to internal promotions, so this is a wonderful time to be joining. As the Head of Digital Sales your role will be to drive National sales revenue across a number of different digital channels. You will be developing sales strategy across mobile, desktop, video, mobile and branded content.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Building relationships with digital advertisers + partner agencies
• Growth + sales strategy to enhance new client acquisition
• Implementation of marketing + lead generation via paid media platforms
• Lead + manage the digital sales team
• Develop + maintain pricing, planning + inventory
• Work closely with the executive team as well as internal departments such as marketing + content

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• 10+ year within a sales within a media business – agency or publisher
• 3+ years team management experience
• Solid digital experience within programmatic
• Strong understanding of the Ad management tools
• Established contacts in the industry
• Hard working, muck in attitude + team player
