A concern in St Francis Bay is seeking a Inboard and Outboard Marine Motor Technician to join their team.

Open position : Inboard and Outboard Marine Motor Technician
Location : St Francis Bay (Candidates residing in PE must be willing to relocate to St Francis Bay)
Salary : Market related
Type : Permanent position
  Job requirements :
– Proven experience in working with inboard and outboard two stroke and four stroke engines including jet boats and skis
– Any relative qualifications would be a great advantage
– Must have ability to service, diagnose and repair engines with little to no supervision
– Ability to fit accessories including bilge pumps, radios and fishfinders which requires understanding of electronics
– Understanding of Mecury diagnostics would be a great advantage
– Ability to do fibre glassing and work on trailers would be a great benefit
– Time management skills and able to work according to strict deadlines
– Manage jobs in line with set timelines and able to work under pressure
– Understanding of part numbers and how they are required when generating quotes for work
– Excellent communications skills at all departmental levels
