Responsibilities 

• Develop effective new brand strategies using defined agency processes
• Unlocking briefs: critically interrogating and understanding them and the client context
• Research: uncovering brand truths, competitive gaps and consumer insights
• Conceptualising ideas, aligning with client strategies and objectives
• Articulating ideas: packaging and presenting internally and externally
• Guiding idea implementation through other disciplines
• Thought leadership: internally relating to brands and externally by contributing to THB blogs/newsletters

Minimum Requirements 

• Level dependent; ideally a minimum of three years’ strategy experience
• Diploma or Degree qualified in Marketing Communications/Brand Leadership (ideal)
• Proven track record of finding creative solutions to various levels of problems
• An understanding of media and channel planning
• A sound understanding of marketing disciplines, and knowledge of branding/brand positioning/brand valuation theory
• A sound understanding of both qualitative and quantitative research
• Highly developed listening skills
• Presentation skills, preparation and persuasion
