We are looking for a problem solver that will crack any case wide open – that will investigate and inspire. We are looking for a Strategic Planner (at the mid and senior level) to manage portfolios of both international and national brands.

Responsibilities
- Develop effective new brand strategies using defined agency processes
- Unlocking briefs: critically interrogating and understanding them and the client context
- Research: uncovering brand truths, competitive gaps and consumer insights
- Conceptualising ideas, aligning with client strategies and objectives
- Articulating ideas: packaging and presenting internally and externally
- Guiding idea implementation through other disciplines
- Thought leadership: internally relating to brands and externally by contributing to THB blogs/newsletters
Minimum Requirements
- Level dependent; ideally a minimum of three years’ strategy experience
- Diploma or Degree qualified in Marketing Communications/Brand Leadership (ideal)
- Proven track record of finding creative solutions to various levels of problems
- An understanding of media and channel planning
- A sound understanding of marketing disciplines, and knowledge of branding/brand positioning/brand valuation theory
- A sound understanding of both qualitative and quantitative research
- Highly developed listening skills
- Presentation skills, preparation and persuasion
