Boomtown is looking for a young dynamic Media,Marketing/ Advertising Student to join our dynamic Immersions Team through Filed Market Research. You will primarily work on market research projects answering client briefs on consumer attitudes and behaviors by going out to market and conducting the necessary research. Applying both quantitative and qualitative research techniques to identify trends, understand consumers’ interests and present the findings. You will be responsible for supporting our Strategists with these tasks across a large range of client projects giving you exposure to world class marketers, strategists and insight professionals. You will be part of an engaging, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct primary and secondary research through various techniques and channels in order to plan and deliver sound research outputs.
- Assist Strategy department in development and implementation of Customer Insights strategy. Interpret and integrate data from several sources in order to provide a holistic view on consumer insights.
- Leverage data to gain a deeper understanding of our existing customers and to develop customer led insights.
- Provide insight and suggestions regarding brands and product offerings.
- Deliver customer insights and recommendations with the objective to increase consumer lifetime value
- Advise on customer acquisition and retention strategies based on customer behavior.
- Communicate findings, learnings and insights to internal stakeholders.

Requirements
– Relevant academic or work experience in qualitative and quantitative analysis.
– Marketing/Advertising/Psychology qualification.
– Interest in understanding consumer attitudes & behavior, and wider cultural trends.
– Interest in product innovation and new technologies.
– An interest in new emerging research techniques and the potential of data and technology.
– Feel comfortable and confident working with a range of stakeholders, including clients
– Confident in presenting internally.
– Skilled at using Microsoft programmes (Excel/PPT)
– Ability to work both alone and collaboratively with other team members.
– Comfortable with going out to market and engage with consumers and business.
