IT Manager – Network Infrastructure (Johannesburg)

Working hours: Monday through Friday, 11am to 7.30pm, flexibility on working hours for time changes
Abroad travelling will be required on a regular basis.
Role description:
- Operational efficiency
- Hands on engineering and management of day-to-day operations, in the area of network and security infrastructure and all related components.
- Leadership management
- Client service brand management
- Continuous process improvement
- Other
Act as an escalation point for IT issues, including working outside of regular business hours.
Operate as part of the on-call management team and act as an escalation point and a coordination point to issues as they arise. Ensure that the team’s operations are effectively covered from a resourcing perspective, in line with operational parameters and service expectations, and are able to react when issues are escalated to them at any time. Manage and develop the budget for the network infrastructure function in coordination with the other managers in the IT Department.
Qualifications:
- Educated to Bachelor degree level
- Must have three+ years of experience supporting IT collaboration systems (hardware, software and administrative components) in a corporate network environment
- A minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role
