It Manufacturing Analyst (jde)
Purpose of the Job
The JD Edwards Manufacturing Consultant will have strong skills in implementing the JDE E1 Manufacturing module including MRP (Material Requirements Planning). The consultant will evaluate customers’ functional requirements and set up business processes in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supports our broad implementation JDE Enterprise One applications including Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Advanced Warehouse, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Advanced Shipping, BOM’s, and Inventory.
- Works collaboratively with business, IT, and consultant teams to analyze requirements, propose and execute solutions
- Uses expert knowledge to configure applications to support business requirements
- Works closely with business managers and users to understand their processes and procedures.
- Develops user documentation, including system reference manuals and training materials.
- Lead ongoing system processing support and evaluate the need to escalate to Developers
- Supporting configurations, customization, reports and interfaces, testing, and user training.
- Work closely with the BU’s functional representatives in the development of Lean / Six Sigma process improvements which best utilizes JDE and the Enterprise
- Architecture to improve quality; increase productivity, and support business goals
- Assure conformance to Best Practices and promote its refinement
- Will perform other related work as required.
Computer and Technical/Mechanical ability
Knowledge –
- Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP)
- JD Edwards Manufacturing implementations (EnterpriseOne)
- JD Edwards Manufacturing
- BOM (Bill of Materials)
- Warehouse Management (WMS)
- Inventory Modules
- WIP (Work in Progress)
- MRP (Material Requirements Planning)
- Advanced analytical SQL report writing skills
- Strong logical problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Information Systems
- 5+ years’ experience as a Manufacturing and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) including Inventory, WIP and BOMs.
- 5+ years’ experience with JD Edwards ERP System with strong knowledge/experience with the Manufacturing, Planning, Inventory and Supply Chain modules
- Strong Data Analytic skills to use current system data to root cause issues, identify metrics and to track improvement
- Ability to develop reports and ETL (Extract, transform, load) as needed to support improvement initiatives with relevant system data
- Proven record of accomplishment in implementing change
- High level of initiative and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, identify priorities and work successfully with minimal supervision
- Ability to prioritize daily workload and work in a team environment
- Drive to continue to learn and grow in the use and application of JD Edwards tools as well as other third-party reporting and analytical tools
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to meet objectives by influencing and engaging others across multiple teams
- Ability to travel 20% – 25% of the time to other domestic locations
