You will be required to maintain the company’s internal systems and applications in the Java technologies. This includes updating features, maintaining the current code base and fixing defects.

Requirements

• Software development degree or diploma, or relevant work experience
• Minimum of five years’ relevant development and managerial experience
• Extensive Knowledge and experience developing Java, Maven, NetBeans
• Extensive knowledge and experience of SQL queries using JDBC
• Knowledge and/or experience of Web services, WCF Services, WebAPI, Restful Services, (XML and JSON)
• Database skills being able to interface with Oracle and MYSQL databases with ODBC and JDBC
• Knowledge and/or Experience with IOC/DI advantageous
• Basic designer skills in HTML with CSS/CSS3

Reference Number for this position is GZ41443-2018 which is a permanent position based in Durban offering a cost to company salary negotiable on experience and ability.
