The fastest growing provider of debit and credit card swipe machines in South Africa seeks a Java/JavaScript developer to be responsible for delivering enhancements to existing systems as well as delivering on new products and services.

Developers in the team take end-to-end responsibility for delivering features, from software design to deployment. The team has chosen to use an agile SDLC and aspires to the principles set out in The Twelve-Factor App (http://12factor.net/). Talented junior. Someone with around two years’ experience.

Essential skills

We are working on a number of projects using a varied array of technologies. You need to be:

• up-to-speed with Java, which generally means you’ve got at least two years of practical, hands-on
• experience using JEE technologies. You need to have JavaScript development experience.
• We’re investing heavily in technologies like Angular, React, Meteor, PWAs and Node.js at the moment
• Mobile development experience would be advantageous
