Jnr Buyer / Stores Administrator
JUNIOR BUYER / STORES ADMINISTRATOR. An established “leather supplier” in Western Cape, requires a Junior Buyer, to add to its organization. The successful candidate will need to be committed to quality, dependability and innovation. They will report directly to the Financial Manager and will communicate and liaise with Management daily. KPA’s include: • Sourcing of operational consumables. • Daily ordering and follow-up of spares, consumables, packaging, services, PPE, etc. • Take full responsibility and management of Stores (chemicals, spares, consumables). • Administration of import orders, documentation and the rebate store. • Supervision of two subordinates and ensure adherence to company policies. • Other ad-hoc duties and/or projects. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE • Grade 12. • Min 3 years’ experience in processing of orders and receipt of deliveries. • Good understanding/knowledge of the financial implications of purchase transactions. • Good communication skills. • Must be energetic and practical. • Able to prioritize and manage time efficiently.
