Job description
A Shimansky Jewellers is seeking to employ a Junior Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience as a accountant, and dealing with daily tasks of bookkeeping. The successful candidate will be assisting all senior accountants with data capturing and accounts enquiries.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Debtors and Creditors function
- VAT Control
- Capturing of bank statements and payments
- Process daily cash reconciliations
- Assist with payroll function
- Process suppliers and client credit applications
- Stock control
- Monthly audit pack preparations
- Monthly sales and expense analysis
Requirements
Computer Literacy
- Accpac
- Pastel Accounting
- Pastel Payroll
- Microsoft Office
- SARS e-filing
Minimum requirements:
- Matric + relevant tertiary qualification
- Own transport
- One to two years’ relevant experience
