Jnr Accountant

Elgin Free Range Chickens, Grabouw

The person will report directly to the Financial Accountant. The responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Key customer account maintenance
• Key supplier daily summaries and GRN processing
• Processing of approved credit notes
• Verification and payment process of weekly and monthly creditors
• Bookkeeping up to Trial balance
• Assistance with all bookkeeping and accounting tasks as periodically may be necessary

The position is available immediately and an attractive market related salary package will be offered.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

• Relevant degree or professional qualification;
• Completed SAICA/SAIPA training contract,
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel essential
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in Pastel Evolution an advantage
