Job description

We are looking for a performance driven, detail orientated and media-savvy junior consultant to join our corporate and public affairs division. The incumbent will be required to provide support to the broader team and be responsible for the day to day implementation of activities across client accounts.

The successful applicant must have strong writing abilities, be proactive, be resourceful and have the ability to work well under pressure, adhering to deadlines. Strong digital skills would be an advantage.

Role:

• Plan, co-ordinate and execute client meetings and events
• Collate and circulate media publicity to team members and clients
• Update media/blogger/influencer lists and maintain database
• Compile media publicity and activity reports
• Seek appropriate commentary/profiling opportunities for clients
• Implement activities across clients and manage overall team delivery
• Maintain good media/blogger relations
• Develop media motivations and press releases
• Develop social media content
• Social media community management experience would be beneficial

Requirements

• One to three years’ experience in similar role
• A Degree/Diploma in communications, digital marketing, public relations, journalism, politics, international relations, or economics
• Up to date with all current affairs
• Strong writing ability
