Makro is searching for an Junior Digital Coordinator that is HUNGRY, HUMBLE, ENGAGED, AND SMART AND FOLLOWS THROUGH.

Main Purpose of the job:

Responsible for execution of digital campaigns at Makro. Core duties include briefing the team to conceptulise, design and deliver effective cross channel / Omni-channel marketing campaigns which will attract, convert, welcome, engage and retain customers across all digital channels.

Key performance areas

Campaign Design

• Assisting team members with day to day marketing tasks and coordinating campaigns and activities as requested
• Understanding campaign requirements
• Supporting the in-house digital team by coordinating and collating all necessary information
• Track competitor activity by keeping abreast of market changes and marketing mix used by competitors
• Assist with digital marketing planning and execution
• Function as a liaison and advocate for the digital team
• Build relationships with external and internal stakeholders
• Prepare and quality check briefs
• Follow internal processes and ensure correct implementation across campaigns
• Stay up to date with digital media developments
• Planning, running and monitoring digital campaigns
• Assist in putting together campaign reports

Relationship and stakeholder management

• Develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
• Work collaboratively with all areas of the business to help achieve business objectives

Minimum Academic Requirements, Professional Qualifications, and Experience:

Qualifications:

• BSc degree in Marketing, Digital media or relevant field
