Purpose of the job

To assist the business manager in maximising the exhibitor and public awareness of Warner Bros. Pictures Films in order to achieve maximum box-office results through strategic marketing, promotion and publicity initiatives while adhering to the budget of the film.

Outputs for the job

• Assist in the conceptualising, implementing, and monotoring marketing strategies related to the release of Warner Bros. Pictures titles
• Assist in the initiation and implementation of third-party promotional campaigns
• Brief creative agency and manage approvals with studio
• Liaising with media buying agency in setting, monitoring and reviewing above the line budgets
• Evaluating of product for theatrical release
• Assist in the preparation and management of film budgets
• Manage and support the promotional strategy for Warner Bros. Pictures films
• Present films and maximize opportunities with exhibitors (Ster Kinekor, Nu Metro, Movies@)
• Build, enhance and maintain relationships with local and international stakeholders
• Pitch and present films to potential third-party partners
• Identify and evaluate new media, promotional and advertising opportunities
• Manage premieres and events
• Plan and co-ordinate promotions
• Track artwork, point-of-sale and other creative materials
• General administration of the day-to-day functioning and housekeeping of the studio
